Skiing Schweitzer



Schweitzer Ski Resort is just a 20 minute drive up the mountain.  It's view from on top offer an amazing skiing experience. The cost is:

Junior (ages 7-17)$50.00

They do offer season passes, which if you buy them before Halloween then you get a discount on the price. They also offer different variety passes that you can buy for cheaper and only ski on certain days of the week.

They are open 7 days a week from 9 am to 4 pm.(except on weekends see below for night skiing.)  The season usually starts after Thanksgiving and goes until April.  Depending on snow and how much they get each year can depend on opening and which runs are open and etc. 

They have a shuttle bus that runs up & down the mountain. It runs every half hour.  You get on the shuttle at the base of the mountain by the Big Red barn parking lot right before you head up the mountain.  The cost is $3.00 but if you have a season pass it's free.

Night Skiing
Night Skiing is a much cheaper option if looking for a cheaper way to see a great view and a fun snow experience.  Cost is $7.00 per ticket.  You can ski from 3-7 pm  Friday & Saturday: January 3, 2014 - March 1, 2014   The lift that are open are Basin Express high-speed quad and Musical Chairs double. Runs that are open are Stomping Grounds Terrain Park as well as beginner terrain off Musical Chairs.  The highlighted part in yellow in above picture shows you the area that is open for night skiing.

To buy the $7.00 ticket you can get them any of the place listed below.  When you buy a ticket from one of these places you are supporting one of these groups in bold.
