Spot Bus

Have you seen this bus around town and wondered what it is? Well it's a free public bus service that goes around Sandpoint and out to Ponderay and Kootenai.  The best part about it is it's FREE!  Sandpoint got this bus system a few year back.  And people liked it so much that they added another one (white bus) because it was being used so much.

Below is the route map and schedule.

SPOT offers two lines – a GREEN line for Dover-Ponderay, and a BLUE line for Sandpoint-Ponderay with a connection to Schweitzer.
Main route hours of operation 6:24 a.m. – 6:27 p.m., seven days a week

• Both BLUE and GREEN line buses circle their routes once each hour
  • GREEN line three late runs Fridays and Saturdays, plus West Sandpoint and Dover alternate routes with less frequent stops
  • BLUE line inludes three late runs Fridays and Saturdays
No services Easter and Thanksgiving
Buses circle the route once each hour – so either northbound or southbound riders can expect a bus going their way about once per hour.
